Why Did Bill Write the Book?

Dan Hackett is owner of Executive Pro Tem, LLC, an organization devoted to providing executive and financial management to business owners.
As a fractional CFO “plus”, Dan can work with owners to diagnose business issues and implement improvements while providing support for financial decisions.
His experience in management, as well as consulting with all sizes of organizations, has allowed him to design and execute strategies that improved organizational coherence, growth and efficiency.
As a CPA, Dan has worked with dozens of businesses and business owners to manage financial resources. He led the formation of dozens of advisory boards and special purpose boards focused on intellectual property, licensing and brand management. Dan has facilitated nearly 100 strategic planning workshops as well as worked with individual organizations to create strategy.
Previously, Dan has served in leadership positions as President and Chief Executive Officer, CFO/General Manager and Director of Consulting with various small and medium size businesses. His deep knowledge of the complexities of privately held companies allows him to create solutions that serve the business, its owners and families.
Dan’s other career experiences include positions at Fortune 500 companies such as Arthur Andersen & Co., The Limited, Inc. and Federated Department Stores, Inc.
